The Pharisees also came unto Him, testing Him and saying unto Him, “Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?”
And there came unto him Pharisees, trying him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
And Pharisees came to Jesus, testing Him and asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
And Pharisees came to Him and put Him to the test by asking, Is it lawful and right to dismiss and repudiate and divorce one’s wife for any and every cause?
The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
Some Pharisees approached him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on any grounds?”
Some Pharisees came to him. In order to test him, they said, “Does the Law allow a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
Some P’rushim came and tried to trap him by asking, “Is it permitted for a man to divorce his wife on any ground whatever?”
Some Pharisees wanted to test Jesus. They came up to him and asked, “Is it right for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
And the Pharisees came to him tempting him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
And Pharisees came to Him— testing Him, and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to send-away his wife for any reason?”
And there came to him the Pharisees tempting him, and saying: Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
Some Pharisees came to Jesus. They tried to make him say something wrong. They asked him, “Is it right for a man to divorce his wife for any reason he chooses?”
Some Pharisees came to talk to Jesus. They wanted to see how he would answer their question. They asked, ‘Can a man send his wife away so that she is no longer his wife? Is it right for him to do that for any reason he chooses?’
Some Pharisees came in order to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?”
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?”
Some Pharisees came to Jesus ·and tried to trick [to trap/test] him. They asked, “Is it ·right [lawful; C according to the law of Moses] for a man to divorce his wife for any reason he chooses?”
¶ Then came unto him the Pharisees tempting him, and saying to him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife upon every occasion?
Some Pharisees came to test him. They asked, “Can a man divorce his wife for any reason?”
Some Pharisees came to him and tried to trap him by asking, “Does our Law allow a man to divorce his wife for whatever reason he wishes?”
Some Pharisees approached Him to test Him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on any grounds?”

Some Pharisees came to interview him and tried to trap him into saying something that would ruin him. “Do you permit divorce?” they asked.
One day the Pharisees were badgering him: “Is it legal for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
The Pharisees also came to Him, tempting Him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”

The proud religious law-keepers came to Jesus. They tried to trap Him by saying, “Does the Law say a man can divorce his wife for any reason?”
Some Pharisees came and tried to trap him with this question: “Should a man be allowed to divorce his wife for just any reason?”
Then the Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying to him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for any reason at all?
Some Pharisees came to him, and to test him they asked, ‘Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any cause?’

Then the Pharisees came to Him, tempting Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife upon every occasion?”
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?”
And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?”
Pharisees came up to Yeshua, testing Him and saying, “Is it permitted for a man to divorce his wife for any reason at all?”
So some Pharisees approached Jesus and asked Him this tricky question about divorce: Pharisees: Is it ever lawful for a man to divorce his wife?
Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
The Pharisees came to Jesus to test him. They asked, `Is it right for a man to send his wife away from him for any reason?'
And the Pharisees came to him, tempting him, and said, Whether it be leaveful to a man to leave his wife, for any cause?
And the Pharisees came near to him, tempting him, and saying to him, `Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?'
